Redgum
well the seasons drawing to a close and im wondering how everyone else is spending their saturdays from now on? im considering fishing.. i hear its as good as a bad day out shooting Its a little early for the waders really, you'll freeze yr nuts off until April gets here but its better than a bad days shooting. Flyfishing is were its at, no sitting around and tying yr own flies is probably more rewarding than reloading. Get a nice 5lb rainbow on a no6 line and 9'6'' rod n the heart will be pumping like you've got the crosshairs on a fallow buck(well maybe not quite)
demonwolf444
i dont have a Fac rifle but rabbits will be getting a bashing from me with the air guns and maybee hares with shotgun, squizzers also. but it just not the same as game shooting which is a guaranteed full day out, i find it very dificult to spend an entire day on the rabbits dont have a great deal of land! We shoot all yera round really.
Spaniel
I still got my Wildfowling until Feb 20th but the plan for the rest of 2011 is 1. Learn to cast with the fly rod 2. Catch 1st fish on the fly 3. Lighter evenings so crack on with training the dogs 4. Might enter some Tests with them also 5. Later in the year get on the clays in readiness for next seasons shooting 6. Busy working up the shoot getting everything ready for next season 7. Keep practising with the Duck/Geese calls (Wife really loves that one) 8. Try to fit a full time job and family around all of the above 9. Its the 2011 season already, where as the time gone Edited January 30, 2011 by Spaniel
