NickP
I wonder how Landrover are going to hit me this year, hard as they can i expect last year at renewal, they had messed up my renewal quote, I had lost speeding points and I gained an accidents, so as a good will gestured the held my price from the previous year, but i also mentioned that i was moving 2 days after the renewal, and they held the price again even though it notched up a little due to a move. I have a feeling i am going to have drop, bend and grit my teeth when i open the envelope

pavman
I am (was) with NFU they made the 44% hike, just been on compaire the meercat and quote was silly money (high) then two companies have phoned me getting my details from the web site
al4x
don't put the right number in next time they really ****** me off ringing for weeks after, direct line and LV I think don't go on those sites and are worth a try
Biggest
Try Aviva. I thnik they are doing a equivalent of 12 weeks free at the moment which might make them competative. Just watch when it come to renewal time, but then most companies are not intrested in offering existing customers good deals.
webber
I was with NFU for 11 years. They more than doubled my renewal fee. Finally went with Admiral, but be careful as they charge for every mortal thing, buyt at least I got cover for a very modest increase over last years price. webber

J.C
Adrian Flux seem to be very competitive, been insured with them for the last three years and have been happy with their service. They saved me a few quid on insuring my hilux.

bennyblanco
Mine went up 25% (£100) this year but no one could match the cover at the same price so I have stuck with tesco's. One thing I found is that adding her indoors as a named driver saves you a chunk as long as she has a clean license, a bloke at adrian flux told me about it. ben
Diceman
Lancaster Insurance have been unbeatable for me for the last 4 years, although you have to get them to strip out all the extras that they add automatically. Off road driving covered too, £112 fully comp for my V8 Defender last time round, although that was limited mileage (5000 pa I think)
activeviii
frank pickles £135 fully comp. you dont need no claims bonus as its a specialist 4x4 insurance. only thing you do need is for the truck to be modified  2gether is another one that is cheap and runs with the same insurance company, Liverpool Victoria. but i had a few problems with them this year not being able to insure the pajero. but frank pickles could
masterzone2
Frank pickles got any contact details? And what level of modified do you have to go to change of wheels? or full 9 Inch lift with 35 Inch tyres?
