Mike737
Don't put a bipod on it...you won't be able to hit a barn door. Bipods and springers don't mix... Why is that? And what about gas ram? Does it not just give you a stable rest? Thanks, Mike.
oscarsdad
Why is that? And what about gas ram? Does it not just give you a stable rest? Thanks, Mike. Springers recoil with the pellet still in the barrel...holding it absorbs this recoil (once you have learnt how to shoot it properly) - a bipod will not absorb the recoil and will bounce the rifle about making it horribly inaccurate. Not 100% sure with a gas ram but I think the same logic applies.
alex.mc
I think the theory is that a spring gun will need to recoil usually in a sliding motion. If you grip your gun in such a way that it can't easily slide straight back then it affects the barrel alignment before the pellet has left. Bipods will make your barrel move in a way that affects the aim. I'm making assumptions there, but bipods and springers are well known bad company. bruno22rf
Here's my baby, not had her long and she has spent too much time in the more than capable hands of R&K Stockcraft. This is the only gun that I have ever owned that I can rely on to shoot the plastic head off a pin at 20 metres if I do my job. To date - 2 pigeons and a crow have regretted my purchase . I know,,but its great when out in the field and I can watch any animals no matter where they are 200+ yrds easily, but lets be honest there is nothing better than listening to music from your rifle whilst out shooting
