kent velocity

cheap(ish) and seem to hit hard

I bought a 1000 a while ago, down to the last few 100 now, quite impressed with them

Iv been using them decoying, roosting and flighting and have had some excellent long kills :good:

I normally use express 28g #5 but I think I will get some more Velocity's

i have always used the 30g 6s in plastic wad

i ran out on friday and went to local shop, they only had the 28g 7.5s in fibre wad, i got 250 to see me throught the weekend

used just short of 200 of them over teh weekend for 138 pigeons, only 6 not dead!

they are hard hitting carts, i paid £36 for them :good:

Been told the Kent velocity 28g 7.5 are American shot size so uk 7.

Pigeon and partridge and any other small birds should be fine within reasonable ranges.

ATB figgy

Manufacturers seem to have a habit of putting all sorts in so it's not a bad idea to open one up and measure what's inside.

I have so called 7 1/2 cartridges with anything between 7s and 9s in them, though the shot size in any lot seems consistent.

It's not surprising that people get varying results when they are shooting cartridges that they think are the same but actually vary by anything up to a couple of shot sizes depending on who manufactures them.
