Carrying from the thread:

I have posted the pictures here as I don't have the time to uplaod them to photobucket.

Firstly the SBS, which is a Zoli 28" ejector, single selective trigger, very clean and tidy - hardly looks like it has any much use, there is no loss of blueing anyway.

I don't know how it is choked I will get it checked at the gunshop tomorrow.

Which is Renato Gamba Victory 28" Trap Gun.

Can't find out much about them on the web so I will email the factory with the serial number to get more details.

I looks to be heavily choked (fixed) and weighs about 8lb.

As you can see it is complete with warranty slip and again is in almost unused condition. It has been fitted to the last owner, which explains the spacer on the end of the butt.

If anyone remembers thse guns or knows any more about them please let me know.

It handles like a 682 Beretta and seems very well made.

Of the 2 this is the one I am least likey to hang on to, my cabinet is now overfull and don't shoot trap, and this for me at least, would shoot very high.

I seem to remember Rob Reynolds UK putting a Gamba in the For Sale section here on behalf of his mate, and I've seen some for sale in the usual gun mags, normally for several thousand pounds! Don't know how much the different models will differ in price though.

Could be a very nice present.

Thanks lads, I will get an idea of how there are choked at the gunshop in the morning and also get an idea of the value of the Gamba.

My replacement CZ stock is supposed to be heading over the pond as well, so I definitely need a good clearout soon :*)

Any sensible (read that bit mark bivvy  ) offers will be considered.

LG

LG,

The company I am dealing with will ship anywhere in the world, and they don't charge that much for the shipping.

It may that they only make and sell lumps of wood and what you are after would be seen by some folk as an out and out 'gun part', not sure...

I tried buying 3 Tikka rifles from the States and the guy stood firm, no export under any circumstances  (that may have had something to do with loyalty and grey imports as well of course)

There are some shops that ship to UK, Brownells I believe is one, and there are some boys on the GT forum that ship stuff over all the time, may be worth an ask over there?

proper nice guns mate why does every1 has good luck apart from me! lol anyway have some fun with them tell me how they shoot pm me

thanks steve

Steve,

I got your PM fella.

I am still undecided about the Zoli, but the Gamba will be going one way or the other, it doesn't offer me anything the Beretta doesn't even though the mottled chequering is far more comfortable than anything I have handled on a shotgun before.

I *may* still flog them both and then buy something with the proceeds, but the priority was to get them away from the previous owners house before his ticket elapsed - which we did
