MC
Baikal Record cartridges are the HARDEST hitting cartridge you will ever fire, They are also the loudest and recoil like a howitzer. They were banned from nearly every clay ground in the country which is why they are no longer imported. I used to work for the company who used to import them and so used to get mine FOC. I still have about 20 at home for old times sake There are 2 types, the red ones are 32 g and were OK the black ones were spawned by Satan and are pure evil. They used to be available in 32g and in shot sizes from AAA to no. 9. If you are not going to use them I know a good home for them. After firing a few you will appreciate why Baikal guns are made so strong. Cheers Martin
tosspot
a rough shell will shake the gun apart eventually they are loud, dirty, but very effective try shooting them at night you won't believe the flames

flytie
Used to have to wait for the smoke to clear before you could see if you'd killed what you aimed at. Great memories Ft

Bazooka Joe
Baikal Record cartridges are the HARDEST hitting cartridge you will ever fire, They are also the loudest and recoil like a howitzer. You can say that again Martin, all I used to use one time, mainly for there cheapness. After a day on the pigeons you knew about it After firing a few you will appreciate why Baikal guns are made so strong. Still got my old single barrelled Biakel from well over 20yrs ago, the only thing I ever done to it was oil it. Heard rumors that the first baikals stocks were made from old railway sleepers, anyone else heard this, or is it just a rumor/windup. Cranfield
Ditto what everyone else has said, plus some "good" guns firing pins, couldn't even dent the primer. Semi autos love them.
henry d
Didn`t baikel also make a fawn coloured one that was either blast or pop

lurcherboy
Brian, I get given boxes of 10 everytime I drop rabbits off to an old boy I know. I LOVE THEM, loud as thunder and they make the shoot owners walk the ground looking for the culprits Not sure about the hitting quality though but that just might be me LB

roe doe
if you have the red ones BEWARE of the ones that are a lighter shade of pink as they are the ones that kick like a mule and belch flames into the sky
