oscarsdad
Try a maxus as well, brilliant gun.
Salop Matt
Benelli for reliability as your not relighant on gas parts and them being clean etc. Inertia is garenteed !
bullet boy
All I can say Paul is that I love my SX3!It's a cracking gun IMO!
chris t
for clays or game/pigeons? only reason I ask is that the gas operated guns tend to be heavier, but less recoil. Inertia (ie benellis and the like) tend be lighter, cleaner, bit more recoil. What price are you working with? I like the benellis, but I don't seem to get on with the high rib that some of them have. But others have no such issues. Like the beretta AL391, but is fairly heavy. jackinbox99
Beretta 391 for me. Had mine for donkeys years and have put thousands of cartridges through it. Clean it twice a year - nice and easy to strip down and clean. Only had 2 jams ever, which is amazing when you think of the amount ive put through it. They are cracking guns and really hold their value well.

jmoz82
I have a franchi 712 raptor which is absolutely faultless, u can pick them up second hand for around £500.00 or new for around £800.00. A reliable, well built semi for little money !!!! Edited January 30, 2012 by jmoz82
Salop Matt
Beretta AL391 Urika and franchi browning would all be secious contendors for second option for me ! I intially liked the idea of a SX3 but was dissapointed when i saw and handled one and also saw one when clay shooting sunday not fire a round because of a light hammer strike ! I think berretta would take second place followed joint 3rd being browning maxus and franchi !
chrispti
Used/owned a few, Xtrema2, SX3, Maxus, Escort, Benelli M2, Benelli SBE2, Beretta ES100, Beretta 303, Beretta Urika2. Ended up going back to (and now staying with) the Xtrema2 I like them because I prefer and shoot better with a heavier gun. The stock dimensions suit me and I can adjust it to fit me perfectly. They are reliable and do not jam. Very soft felt recoil (unlike inertia guns  ) Will cycle any cartridge you feed it. Its not case length fussy like alot of others and will reliably cycle 65mm right up to 3.5'' super magnum loads.

Sandbank
The new Beretta A300 Outlander is worth a look, can be had for about £760 new. I have an AL390 and a new Outlander, the latter is a bit plainer but functions well.
BerettaSV10
Benelli for reliability as your not relighant on gas parts and them being clean etc. Inertia is garenteed ! +1 Try a few out as they can feel different in handling, I found some had stocks that were to short for me. majordisorder
Benelli's are nice, but for tipping up at a driven day you need something a little more traditional http://youtu.be/WOoUVeyaY_8
cant hit rabbits 123
Either an AL391, Browning Maxus or the new Beretta semi, the A300 outlander. They are only £900 new, and there are already second hand ones on the market for £700.
