anser2
I would park your car further off. i have covered mine with camo nets in the past and the pigeons ignored it.
Beardo
Most of the time pigeOns don't give a damn about cars
Cranfield
If they are use to seeing a vehicle there they may be OK, but I doubt it.
Beardo
that's what you get for living in a place where everyone still uses a pony i once tried to flag off an area of field i was shooting (stubble) with my bright blue frontera - i was 400 yards away in my hide, and all i could see were pigeons landing around it! Hamster
If it's a Skoda or something I'd just cover the badge in case it offends them but otherwise you'll be fine. A friend and I used to shoot out of the back of his Land Rover occasionally with good results.

Fisherman Mike
We used to have an old car as a pigeon hide never bothered them as it was always about in the fields Deershooter I would put it with your decoys most pigeons these days are cosmopolitan and move into parks and gardens in towns so they will probabaly want to **** on it. Matt Gould
okay thank you for your help, i will just park it there can always move it later if they done like my hardcore rover 25 as it not the best for pulling birds Edited March 27, 2012 by Matt Gould
Country Boy
At least if it's parked up close it won't be vulnerable to any old tealeaf !! Seriously - for us pigeon shooters - where to park your vehicle when you can't get onto the land, especially if you have the prospect of a long walk out to pitch up, is becoming a problem as more and more access places get gated or fenced off !!!! pboro shot
ive been setting up decoys and theyve come to land before now,on monday i had them landing on a spinning bright yellow bird scarer ,ok it wasnt spinning but there really not that shy at all parked car would cause no concern in my opinion just try it, all else fails move it and set a hide up
ditchman
I have a white landrover, to begin with it didnt make any difference, but after 8-9 times out they learnt to avoid it as it meant death! well at least a headache ! So what we do now is to park it on a flightline a field away and it diverts them off it towards our flightline, so it works for us now......... humperdingle
Just make sure you don't shoot any fast and low crossers in the general direction of the motor! I've parked the motor close by (maybe 30 or so yards away), and pigeons still came in to decoys

motty
I try not to park too close to where i'm shooting if i can help it. I don't think pigeons are too bothered by cars, if they were they'd be scared to fly over a road and onto a field. On several occasions i have had pigeons come into the decoy pattern with a truck parked in it. Edited March 30, 2012 by motty
