pigeon controller
Picked up DB at 08.00 on a wet drizzly morning and we expected the birds to be sitting tight in the trees. Driving out we spotted a few on the clover with the sheep but nothing flighting, picked up a bacon and egg sandwich for medicinal purposes and parked up by the motorway bridge the view any birds crossing. Picked up on a flightline and proceeded to follow it to known rape field. Checked with the farmer and he confirmed that they had been on it for days set up the hide with the wind off our backs and prayed that the cloud would not lift as we would be looking into the sun.Started shooting at 11.45 and shot till 18.00 and picked up 109 at the end of the day. The birds were very spooky and were slow to return but it was a good day as the rain held off. http://i354.photobucket.com/albums/r420/Pigeoncontroller/March2012009.jpg Edited April 7, 2012 by pigeon controller
