Dunkield
Bring it on, we need it down here. If we don't get it now, you can guarantee it will rain all summer long - nothing to say that won't happen anyway of course
Blobby
I booked the afternoon off work to go fly fishing, damn rain, oh well, I'll be standing in a lake, chest deep in water anyway so a what the hell, good jacket and a flask of coffee, anything outdoors is better than an afternoon in the office
Dunkield
I had one of my best fly fishing sessions in pouring rain at Wistlandpound in Devon years ago, long coat over my waders I was bone dry and couldn't stop catching.
Blackpowder
Rivers all rising around here again, a disaster for the bottom Tweed beats, but mana for upriver. I was lucky to get my 4th springer of the season and the 2nd from the Assoc water yesterday just as the level started to rise. Just getting a bit to much of a good thing, it would be better come June and July, but got to take what Nature sends. Blackpowder

ack-ack
I had one of my best fly fishing sessions in pouring rain at Wistlandpound in Devon years ago, long coat over my waders I was bone dry and couldn't stop catching. Ditto that only I was at a local water and I got wetter than an otters pocket. It was a balmy day and then the heavens opened and remained open for the rest of the day. Must have boosted the oxygen level somewhat as they were going nuts on the top. Was trying almost every fly in the box to see if there was anything that didn't work.
