jonno 357
If I had made registered on a new forum, made one post and then sent £10 off to some guy who I don't know diddley squat about I can safely say I would have sent my watch to the exact time when the draw was being made But hey thats just me and I think the catfish will turn up for his shooter Jonno

Mungler
Left msg on mobile ? Waiting to see what happens... still not sure if male or female?? one of those (I think ) voda phone msgs... anyway... mods ... has this person made any posts at all apart from this.. I have also written to this person.. as I have a address... so waiting to see what happens.... Get some office copy entries from http://www.landregisteronline.gov.uk/ for a couple of quid to see if he owns the house. He could just be on hols. Could write to FAO and see if it marrys up. Failing all else, draw again - but of course if he gets back from his 4 week hols he's gonna wanna know where his gun is Next raffle - "Prizes must be claimed in person within 14 days of the draw or else prize will be forfeit" Incidentally who was ticket number 7 (the second ticket drawn). Highlander
My guess is he's one of the 21 (22/23/24/25/26 depending upon which paper you read) that the security forces have been holding of late perhaps he needed a gun for some nefarious purpose! Axe
Well he has till the 27th if he hasnt claimed it by then, NTTF wins the prize.
Guest jonrms
Well I can safely say I have found the person! Yes they (its a couple) were on holiday and They told me on the phone that when they checked there computer/website it wouldnt allow them on! they were really upset and thought it was a con! Anyway I have advised Sharron (who bought the ticket) that she must post something on here... She was sceptical and doesnt think she really won! I dont think she believes me that I was who I said I am! anyway she did get my letter.... and they will " HOPEFULLY" post on here... as I told them that they have to contact the forum for details of how to pick up the SG... and I also asked them to do it asap.... because I am a bit tired of grief! Sorry Sharron, (dogfish) if your reading this you will no doubt understand my frustration.. and appologies about the website! I hope that you enjoy your SG. And please post!!!!! For the record "IF!!!" there is to be ANY other draws .... which I hope there will! The comments made about time etc... are going to be stated.... I have taken ALL this into account... and am upset that someone posted it seems fishy... I wish you can make more of a statment on that!!! I am gutted as I dont have a SG cert.. nor do I want one! I like my rifles too much... but I have been nothing but fair and honest... I think that for further draws.. I will insist that a Mod or someone localish.. (will meet them if needed) is there as I dont want my good name being brought down .. just because I am helping out a charity... This SG was a gift from a GREAT member... All I did was collect money and draw the tickets.... God If I favoured anyone ... bipolar would have won! we do enough shooting for me to try to fix it.. but I didnt because I am honest...... I dont rig contests.... AVB won last time and I paid for his tickets out of my own pocket......... because he didnt want the car amp... I didnt favour anyone at that raffle either.. and I gave up my own amp for a cause... So I guess what I am saying is after this raffle I dont feel that I will do another... I will of course try to raise more money for APPD which I feel needs as much support as possible... but I dont want any further parts in any raffle.... not if this is going to happen! PPS Cranfield.. I will be in touch shortly.. because I need to ask if I can pass on tel numbers etc for sharron so that the SG can be dealth with..... I dont want any part in it furter... thats my feelings at the minute!!!!
jonno 357
You should have got an independant party (Cranfield) to draw the ticket in the first place then you wouldn't have had all comments posted. Thats why I never bought a ticket in the first place Jonno
Guest jonrms
Jonno, I am sorry you felt that way.. however since reading "SG raffle Winner" and reading throught all the posts... you have done nothing but made yourself sceptical... a couple of points. 1 You never knew who was doing the draw 2 Cranfield if you look already bought a ticket... how the heck can he be independant... I was raising the money for charity... there is NO personal gain to myself.. infact all the time and effort I put in was well ALOT to be honest. Everyone who got a ticket.... got my home tel number ... my mobile number.... my home address.... I have nothing to hide behind.... and even gave all details about the charity... I think you didnt buy a ticket because you didnt want to..... not for any other reason.. so Please dont play up to this.. I am very honest... and was a health care professional before doing in my back..... So dont give me any suspicious looks or comments!
jonno 357
No unfortunatley you are wrong """I think you didnt buy a ticket because you didnt want to..... not for any other reason..""" I am also honest also but I am not a nurse, I just couldn't stand the chaffing  I didn't buy a ticket for one reason and one reason only....................... But since you can think for others you will already know that Jonno

new to the flock
jonrms I dont think that anyone who bought a ticket is questioning your integrity...(sp)... I know it seems a hastle that you have been through, but most of us appreciate what you have done . I hope that you will continue to support APPD and that you will consider doing another raffel in the future. I know that I will personnally support you if you do. jonno357 I think that it is very rude of you to run down this mans carreer choice, and that you should consider an appollogy. I am sure that if you ever are in a position where you needed a clinical air rescue paramedic you would understand the level of training , skill and devotion that these people bring to their jobs. DOGFISH Sharron I am glad that you managed to get in contact with jonrms, as I really was not feeling comfortable about claiming the prize only to have you get back from vacation to find out that it was gone. As a matter of fact my wife and I had talked it over and had decided that the gun would be held in trust for an additional 2 weeks if you had not claimed by sunday. I hope that your prize brings you many hours of happy use. Congradulations once more. NTTF
pin
Oh nurse in a chopper, well dressed up I don't understand what you are on about Jonathon??? Did someone run you down ? Or was it me? Are you in a wheel chair? Jonno This is what thanks you get for trying to do something good jonrms I think you should appologise jonno, un-called for and nasty comments imvho. Like NTFF, I would support you if you did another raffle. Personally I paid my money to a charity who I wanted to support, as I am sure most people did. The fact that I could have won a gun was secondary really. The sentiment of the person donating it was to generate money for a charity, now because people sat at home decide to snipe from behind computer screens, this happens. Damn shame, thanks for the effort jonrms, I think you did a grand job.
MC
Yes come on Jonno, be a man and apologise. I supported the raffle and I didn't win. You chose not to support it. Your choice. Don't run the guy down for trying to raise some money for a charity that has obviously helped him. If we all had the same opinion as you charities in this country would not be able to help anybody. Well done Jonrms Cheers Martin

Mungler
This has gone sour pretty sharpish. If anyone thinks this is a put up then drop the charity a line and double check the facts before posting remarks which are both damaging and extremely hurtful. Jonrms, I am afraid that you appear to be on a hiding for nothing on this one which is a great shame. I wish I could be bothered to do something proactive and charitable.
