Axe
When out last night with the my HMR and JJaxeman and his CZ .22LR, after getting a call from a local golf course. The 1st green and eighth tee were being hit hard and he had back filled alot of the burrows to try and stop it. Arrived at 8pm and was out on the course by half past, we finally finished at 10:30pm after then had to make our way back with this lot. Axe
Good idea to start/finish early with the moon phase we have at the moment We had very clear skies last night and the moon was as bright as ever. Lamping without filters on the Deben was a doddle. At one point I took three rabbits free standing at close range with the HMR. I was quite suprised, they just sat there and didnt move while shot and reloaded, the moon was directly behind me.

Ferretboy111
We have had clear skies with huge moons recently aswell, doesnt help the lamping trip i must admit. Good shooting there, should get someone to ferret them holes.

Axe
Thanks for the replies. Ive, i'm definitely getting lazy with the HMR. What with the availability of HMR being hard to get, it looks like i'm gonna have to put the .22LR back on. It'll do me good though. Frank, seriously, i think they were dazzled by the moon.
