Had a Canada off the marsh first trip out on 2nd, only a few resident greys to go at but awaiting the pinks eagerly. I herd some pass over my home a couple nights ago heading towards MB i suspect, there was quite a lot too but couldnt see them, i was lamping at the time- not seen the skiens of migrants pass over in daylight at all yet to be fair its early yet for that normally a few weeks off and around the moon

Fair enough, that's how my old man does it as well :good:

It really boils my **** to see people dropping birds & the dog has no chance to keep up - in fact I went for a look see last year with Hopper & the dog & was raging to see 3/4 guys & one dog blasting tail feathers out & cursing their dog when they did drop a few in the fast flowing river

Mind you we picked one downriver  one less wasted :D

Some people have no clue. You're far better walking away with one clean kill than hitting X ammount but still only coming away with 1
