Gregthegreat
Here's a video from the same night of a definate fox for comparison. I think I shot this one last night. The animal in the original clip looks to me like it has a white tip on the end of its tail so not the same fox as this... if it is a fox! I'm still undecided. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dIGIkG4jhJE&feature=youtu.be
grasshopper
It's the way it walks..Otters seem to move both feet together in a kind of jog, whereas this seems to use its legs independently. As in 1 foot in front of the other. Gregthegreat
I've settled on fox. An otter moves with a curved back and would be lower and darker. Best get the rifle out again...

ducatiist
I've watched the video several times now.....I reckon its a mink, we had one at the lodge I fish on and it moved just like that. If you want to catch a mink, they love mars bars!!! Thats how we caught ours...then shot it, for stealing a load of fish. But I'm definately no expert....at anything!!! Dougy
I reckon Fox, looks though its either been put in its place or its sneeking up on something, its low, tail out straight so i reckon its after something.

This is my thinking now. There's regular rats at the pond as it's fed for ducks so it could be after either.
