30-6
Forget the SG's, not enough pattern. I when i do need them use BB's and AAA's in old eley alphamax, hull ultramax are also good. These are 1 1/4 oz loads. I also have some 1 1/2 oz BB's which are very good, all in 12g.

pestcontrol1
anything 1-1/4 to 1-1/2oz bb to 3s do the job
andy198712
Cheers guys, plenty to try. Have a box of alpha max 36g bb that pattern nice. I just want plenty of whack to ensure a clean kill, recoil isn't a issue as you don't fire many. Going in an 870 wingmaster. I found the 36's not bad at all and there is plenty of BB's in there. Are we talking 30 yards here?
deershooter
Hull max no 1 works all the time Deershooter
