yickdaz
i was out yesterday on stubble, from 12.30 to 2.30pm hell of a lot of pigeons in the area but pinning them down is hard at the moment moving from wood to wood and field to field, i set up on a bit of a flightline, birds wouldn,t decoy at all with the turbo flapper and decoys, once i got a couple more birds down i set the rotary up and made a world of difference birds came bombing in to it, only managed 20 before it dried up almost a carbon copy today set up at 12.30pm same land but different spot found a flightline going to a small field of unharvested barley i had birds to put on the rotary from the off so was straight into the action shot 10 in the first 30 mins and thought this could be really good but they tailed off and trickled in with long lulls but did a bit better than yesterday finished at 2.30 again with 25 picked

Actionpigeons
well done, They are difficult to decoy threw Nov, preferring to flight line or roost shoot. Edited November 25, 2012 by Actionpigeons
JDog
Good effort. I had a similar day to yours today, lots of birds about but difficult to see a strong flight line anywhere and in the end I set up along a belt of trees and the ones I managed to get were a mixture of decoyed and flight lined. As with you the end of the flight was at about 2:30. Picked 36. Edited November 25, 2012 by JDog
pigeon controller
Well done , good result . I keep saying that I should take my lofting poles out at this time if the year and loft a real bird to a close tree. As when your shooting one bird will go to a tree and all the others follow it.
