Dudes !! I am now a member of the infamous PUMP CLUB!!!!! :yahoo:

I took my brand spanking Wingmaster out to my local clay shoot and hit just above my average score..........first time ever shooting a Pumper!

Someone said "Pump Actions are **** for clays", I hit 10 out of 10 on that stand............easily the most fun I have had since taking up this sport......and fun is what it's all about eh ?

Like I said, first ever pump I have shot so can't make any comparisons..................but I am well happy with the Wingmaster, it would take some beating me thinks !!

Will upload stylish pics when I have the time.

Laterz dudes :)

Have to report a breakage today that meant the old pump gun went back into its bag early, while doing some practice on the range my old 870 broke a firing pin, its not the first one I have seen over the years but its the first time one of my own has gone.

Once the pin snapped it locked up the gun & required disassembly to get the bolt to open again.

Back at home this evening I got it stripped down & replaced it & also had to re-stake the left side shell latch at the same time, but its all back in working order now. :)

Just joined the club with a Mossberg 835, looking forward to taking it out.

May I be the first to welcome you to the Pump Club sir? I only shot a pump action for the first time on Sunday.......a total convert!!

My aim is to get the high score at my local shoot, many people have stated that pumps are no good for clays.........I am going to prove them wrong.

Can I join with me Ithaca M37 (Hence the name)?

First gun I had and I blummin' love it. Have had some crazy offers for it, but, people back off when I tell them how much it'd cost for me to part with it.

Only down side is it only has 1/4 choke, so, since I bought a Hatsan semi (Cheers Dave) it doesn't get used as much.

It's still not for sale though :D

I wouldnt let that get in the way, if the guns pointed in the right direction you're going to hit it.

My current gun of choice has a skeet choke which is as I believe not far off cylinder, I do all my shooting with it and have noticed no difference compared to when I used a fancy pants multi choke.

It's more of a range issue, when out on the WP's. Gets a bit difficult (for me anyway) to hit anything at more than 20yds, with it. I'm killing stuff at 40yds with the full choke on me Hatsan. That's probably just me not being the best shot in the world, though :D

Anyway, a picture, as requested:

I love the look of it. It's a 1969 gun and it's totally original. No frills, just an honest, hard working, shotgun and it only weighs 6.5lbs so you can carry it forever :)

The four4islands pump team were down at the National Shooting Centre Bisley yesterday for the NRA PSG National Championships, held on Butt Zero.

It was lovely & sunny but there was a cold north wind which meant cold fingers that slowed down those fast reloads, but it was a brilliant day all the same.

This is my mate Jon shooting stage 3 which was a slug stage with his Supernova.
