Dekers
It's a funny old world, one minute they are cute and cuddly and everyone gets all soft about them, the next they chew some baby's finger and there are calls for mass culls! One thing is for sure, if that was my garden there would be no vets bills to pay!
aris
If it were in a suburban garden, hat could you legally do?

Oli
A mate of my wifes told her that a fox entered their house in Norwich a couple of days back, got locked in a room and trashed it apparently
alexr
I think the residual stink would make you want to move house.

Get it in a cage, stick your .410 through the bars, shoot it where it is and Bob's your Uncle. Saves all that driving.
Bry-M
If the fox was dangling like that a swift wallop with a shovel would soon sort it out!
al4x
If the fox was dangling like that a swift wallop with a shovel would soon sort it out! indeed, though its the sort of thing where I'd only find out about the fox having let the dog out in the morning and the resultant ruck that would ensue
four-wheel-drive
The thing that always makes me laugh is things like this happen and the RSPCA and the like will spend a fortune getting the thing well again but if you are a genuine person who cannot afford to have your dog or cat operated on then it can be a different story I have been there in the past as both the RSPCA and PDSA would not help me and that is why when Ralf comes on with his animal hospital I turn over it a joke. A couple of years ago where I walk the dog is by a railway line and there is a strong metal fence with bushes in front of it running along the side of the track. the uprights on the fence was about 3" apart and one day someone showed me that a few days before a little Munkjack dear had tried to get through and got stuck and died very sad not a nice way to go. camokid
can you shoot a shotgun in your garden ? always wanted to do it on bonfire night
al4x
can you shoot a shotgun in your garden ? always wanted to do it on bonfire night yes you can, legally as long as the shot doesn't leave the boundary and you aren't 50ft from a road then there is nothing legally stopping you. In practice the police would appear if you started loosing a 12b off into the air but a hushpower no problem. I'd just use the hmr in a similar situation but that is with an open ticket. Shotgun you don't need to worry only about noise

four-wheel-drive
some years ago I worked with a chap and he wanted to check the spread pattern of a shotgun that he was repairing shooting at a some cardboard in his garden I think against a garden wall and he got a visit from plod I cannot remember what was the outcome of it except to say that people do tend to get upset if you make lowed bangs in you garden mind you they do not like you shooting airguns ether.
