A really excellent and informative video mate! You have clearly shown how preperation, thought and care on exactly where and when you set up can pay real dividends and you have obviously made your hide extremely well to blend in perfectly with the surroundings!

Out of interest, what type of hide netting are you using please? I am only asking as I am thinking of buying new hide netting to use instead of my domed pop up hide.

I use a stealth harvest net but have also put a really cheap darker net over the stealth net. Its just that the harvest is too light in colour and a bit see through in some lights so the extra net still allows me to see through, but masks movement.

great shooting steve do you use the bird scarers when you pigeon decoy

To be honest, we dont get many pigeons down this way, so dont do a lot of pigeon shooting. Harvest time sometimes brings a few but nothing like the bags other parts of the country get. But if they were just hopping from field to field, can't see why they wouldn't work.

gotta admit, crows are a funny thing to decoy. ive had 2 days on the crows this year and it was a blinder. it was actually my first ever go at decoying the first time i went out, and someone must have been watching over me as they didnt stop coming the whole time i was there.

the second time was the complete opposite..
