As stated, being an illegal has nothing to do with race, so the ad cannot be racist. But the ad has been associated with the recent Border Force crackdown, stop and challenge at Londonistan railway and tube stations. It has been argued that "racial profiling" is being used to select which suspects are collared.

I would say that's the best way to do it as most illegals are not white

For every white illegal there's probably hundreds of non white

"Muhammed Butt, leader of Brent Council, said he believed that there was no coincidence between the “go home or face arrest” van and the new random checks in Kensal Green. “I am sure it is probably connected and it leaves a very nasty taste in the mouth,” he said. “These so-called spot checks are not only intimidating but they are also racist and divisive. It appears from speaking to people who witnessed what happened in Kensal Green that it was only black and Asian-looking people who were asked to prove their identity. What about the white Australians and New Zealanders who may have overstayed their visas?”

You are right oscarsdad there is no mention of race in the sign but its implying it indirectly in my view.

When someone is of different colour and can't speak the English language properly when in an argument "get back to your own country " is definitely a racist remark, I've seen and heard it too many times believe me

The adverts are certainly not racist, but I do not support them.

Come on, who thinks that they will actually work? It's a bit like asking criminals to hand over their guns - it will never happen because the type of people who break the law, whether on guns or immigration, are not going to be the type who respond to these adverts. It's nothing more than a gesture to make it look like the government is doing something while it isn't doing anything at all. It's just the latest attempt to stop the growth of support for UKIP and it isn't going to work.

We need to regain control of our borders to deal with illegal immigration. These adverts are just a gimmick.

The illegals will use the excuse they could not read English and did not know what they were doing was illegal.

However they understand enough English to claim all the benefits they can.

Yes, but it is easier to claim benefits if you don't speak English, the forms are available in every language other than English and no-one would dare question the validity of the claim if you are from bongo bongo land would they....

Racial profiling eh? If you did random checks in London blindfolded only about one in ten people stopped will to be white Anglo Saxons. Have you seen the place lately?

Oh dear have I said something racist? :ermm: Oh well, happy days.

people are coming from wherever their home is to this country illegally, this is an advertisement for these people to voluntarily go back to their home country, which is the law. Nothing racist here. The sort of people complaining are the sort of non job people trying to justify their own non jobs.

Scientists say they have discovered big genetic differences between the English and Welsh, reinforcing the idea that the "true" Britons were pushed to the fringes by a large-scale Anglo-Saxon invasion.

Researchers at University College London found the genes of a sample of English men were almost identical to those of people in an area of the Netherlands where the Anglo-Saxons are thought to have originated.

But there were clear differences between the genetic make-up of English and Welsh subjects studied.

The researchers concluded that the most likely explanation for this was a large-scale Anglo-Saxon invasion, which wiped out most of the indigenous population in England but did not reach Wales.

The team studied the Y-chromosome, which is usually inherited unchanged from father to son, and looked for certain genetic markers.

It chose seven market towns mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086 and studied the genes of 313 male volunteers whose paternal grandfather had also lived in the area.

They then compared them with samples from Friesland, now a northern province of the Netherlands.

The English and Frisians studied had almost identical genetic make-up but the English and Welsh were very different. It appeared that a "genetic barrier" existed along Offa's Dyke, a 150-mile long early medieval border between England and Wales.

Dr Mark Thomas, of the Centre for Genetic Anthropology at UCL, said: "It appears that England is made up of an ethnic cleansing event from people coming across from the Continent after the Romans left."

Archaeologists after the Second World War rejected the traditionally-held view that an Anglo-Saxon invasion pushed the indigenous Celtic Britons to the fringes of Britain.

Instead, they said the arrival of Anglo-Saxon culture could have come from trade or a small ruling elite. But the latest research "using genetics as a history book" supports the original view.
