I suspect the purchaseing and testing was done by someone in management sat at a computer, rather than actually enter the real world and test and do their job it's easier just to tick the yes box, unfortunately happens in all type of businesses where someone is too lazy to do their job. Where I work we have jobs planned in with no parts available or it is simply impossible due to otherreasons to do the job.

1 bored afternoon I watched live parliament, about 6 years ago...within MOD at that time there were over 80,000 employees within MOD JUST ON PROCUREMENT.after the next cuts that would be about the same as full time army soldiers..........who said we were bureaucratic?

How so many govts around the world fell for this though is incredible......surely you would test it??'''his punishment should be to be put in a minefield with 1 of his gadgets and if he gets out he walks.......

Yes, we have had this problem for a long time. I know it takes a lot of supportto keep one guy in the field, the air or on the water but this support si from loggies, techies and other grunts, not a pen pusher.

Have to say blame on both sides. I would be watching my back when I came out if I were this guy, look at some of the countries he has uspset.

But don't you think that someone on ground would give it some kind of test like switch it on and wave it over a bomb then put said bomb in a container then try it buried..... then when the detector does not detect it he makes a loud squeak to his CO raising the fact that it does naff all. To continue buying them for 10 years is utter madness.

You don't buy a new tank without driving it.......

They probably would buy a new tank without driving it, yes mister it can go on all sorts of terrain and even fly, it's rock solid too as we got a guy from burnley to test its back door. It will only cost you 1,543,654,768,543 Nigerian dollors
