fenboy
Ghost , that is clearly not a Lab He is looking for something more along the lines of this.
lee-kinsman
Best looking lab I've seen for a while. I've believe this strain of lab was bred for working on the foreshore the broad paws and short legs stops them sinking too far into the mud. Time spent shooting with your dog are some of the best. I think giving up shooting because you can't find a new dog is a bit kneejerk, it took me a long time to find the right dog. If I was looking now I would be surprise if I found the one I wanted by Christmas.

Asa Bear
Good luck finding the right dog...but dont give up shooting! Take your time to find the right dog for you. It's not essential to have a dog so in the meantime enjoy your shooting.

PERCE
There's a dog on here http://gundogsdirect.co.uk/gundogs-for-sale/Labrador-Dog/ad_811.html says it's unregistered & so it's probably not health tested but if you just want a worker it might be worth a punt for the money they want. kent
just a small lab will do must be agile as the same as my last lab he good jump up and down off the back of my quad bike picking up rabbits while out lamping . no more jokes please . when you lose your dog wich was was good as my one . you hope to find the type as you had before my lab had short legs small lean body small head . i bought him off a estate in guilford but had first come from irland . great dog miss him very much if i dont find a new dog soon i will give up shooting Its a sad thing when you loose your 4 legged hunting buddy. However I have found direct replacement is impossible, its like looking for a new wife just like the last - never gonna happen! Some divorces might be glad of that LOL. Many dogs could fill your Biker dog roll. A smaller yet highly intelligent breed like a Cocker might well fit to a T, a dog is what you bring it up to be so much more than its physical appearance. Don't try and find a clone, it will only lead to disappointment every dog I have owned has been a little different (that makes them interesting)Just like Slim, big breasted, long legged blonds are not all the same Don't loose you sense of humour over it though, its still an essential component in dog training and work.
