kev56 Posted August 26, 2013 Report Share Posted August 26, 2013 Thinking ahead, whats your thoughts on hand warmers, years ago i had a lighter fuel thingy for when i was fishing. looking around now i've seen some that use charcoal sticks ? andypaint Posted August 26, 2013 Report Share Posted August 26, 2013 Peacock hand warmer in giant size. I filled it up and it was fantastically hot for about 30 hours doesn't use much lighter fuel. samboy Posted August 27, 2013 Report Share Posted August 27, 2013 Iv'e had 2 Zippo's and both worked well, bit fiddly to light so i may treat myself to a Boston just for the ease of lighting it. smokinggun Posted August 27, 2013 Report Share Posted August 27, 2013 (edited) I haven't ever used the lighter fuel one's but I always get on great with the charcoal stick one's, always use them when night fishing and work a treat, I also love the smell they give off, my dad has one from when he was a boy so been around for years and still works a treat.
