sako751sg
Took this video yesterday of pinks pouring into the decoys being shot yesterday.Unbelievable amount coming in and a great sight and sound.Watched for around 45 mins and in that time they would have shot between 80-100 birds which for 5-6 guns imo is overkill, especially as these guides are doing this near enough every day just now. Will give them credit for picking up every thing as I marked 5 that came doon, some 300ish yards away from the hides and they had all been picked when I looked this morning. fenboy
Always nice to see that amount of pinks , the sound is unreal, shame the guys shooting could not show a little more restraint and be happy with a smaller bag, they seemed to be shooting through a large amount of birds and there must of been numerous ones pricked its sad that people feel the need to act like that. Penelope
Fantastic amount of geese. Disgrace shooting on the ground like that and the numbers suggested, are they that desperate for a goose? Obviously.
Grandalf
I've done a bit of foxing in my time. Two good shots - they don't all drop dead on the spot unfortunately. The geese. Fabulous video until the shots were taken. Still OK if the 'fowlers' had then packed up and gone home. Doing it over and over is a over the top unless crop protection can be claimed - not on stubble. Leaves a bad taste in the mouth. Creates a bad image in the eyes of the public. Bag limits are a sensible way to go - as long as they are sensible. Interesting videos. Food for thought. Sometimes apologies are required.
markyboy
These guys are not shooters ! No skill in letting a gun go into a blanket of geese !! Utter joke to see no respect whatsoever

Shotgunspud
Hi Dave hope your well mate? I for one have guided and shot on big days on geese like this (6 guns 70-100 birds DAYS BOT 45 mins,, and yes looking back over kill for the day but the numbers of geese where out of control in some areas we hunted.) BUT watching a sight like that come into decoys and then shoot the birds on the deck the way they did is no sport!! they should hang there heads in shame along with the guide.. Would I be far wrong saying overseas hunters? I no where my money is. SGS

House Boat
This video is an absolute disgrace and show the very worst of British shooting, unfortunately we will all be judged by these Muppets actions. This being a public site we give the antis all the ammunition they need to get our sport banned and I would urge the moderators to remove this thread, can you imagine what this clip would do to our sport if it was played on Autumn watch!!!!! wildfowler.250
Decent wee clip but I have to say that seeing folk shoot that amount of geese makes me pretty sad. Gets to the stage of killing for the hell of it

Cranfield
I think there have been enough posts condemning the indiscriminate shooting of ( what appears to be sitting ) geese in such numbers, for this thread to be now closed.
