welshwarrior
I use a Beretta 686 28 bore love it on a true scaled action so light but still balanced.
figgy
I've also got a 28guage and love it found the .410 lacking compared. You'll enjoy it when you get one. Figgy
aister
I once had a shot of a beretta 686 28 bore whilst shooting pigeons and absolutely loved it, once I got the feel of it and managed to slow down my swing it was downing pigeons with ease. simon1979
I used to have a sabatti 28g, it was great value for money, kinda wish i kept it now, but im looking replacing with a lincon 28g. The only thing with the sabatti was, it was a double trigger, but no problem for me atb simon
Cambsman
Have to agree. 28g is the way to go. I have a little .410 and although it's fun to shoot its not too good as a hunting tool
markm
I have a browning cynergy, lovely gun. Anything by browning, miroku, beretta will see you good.
butchdickason
My wife shoots a Gunmark Kestrel 28 S/S, and I often pinch it for walked up shooting. Butch

Alfred
The Yildiz 28g looks quite nice for the money, I've been tempted to have a punt on one for a while but I was worried about 28g not performing, I've only ever used 12g and 20g before. Sounds good. Why the longer stock with a 28?
theshootist
For rough shooting I would definitely stick with the 28 rather than the .410. Its loads may only be a few grams more than the largest .410 but they pattern much better.
kent
.410 is alright but at its best at 20-25yds, not ideal for general shooting but fun non the less . Look out many 28's are built on 20 bore actions, might as well use a lighter 20 bore load then
ChrisAsh
Often borrow a frends Lincon 28g nice gun with good balanced weight, suprising what it can do with 21 gram

REVO from Sportsman Guns have a 28g 32" barrels maybe 30" at a very reasonable price, multi Choke.
