Hi guys!

I've been on this forum for a few weeks, and now I feel that it's time for writing for the first time.

I really like pigeonshooting, although we in Sweden don't have the same amount of pigeons that you seem to have in England. I've been lucky to find a few farmers who need help to protect the crops. The bad thing is that I have to travel a bit to get to the farms, but hey, it's still a chance to hunt....

I'm a footballcoach so I've learnt to know some english guys, mainly through Gothia Cup, which is arranged in my hometown. I've assisted both english teams and some lads to play here in Sweden. The lads I had for a few months last year were from Blackpool.

I'm in need of learning at about everything about pigeonshooting, so I'll be seeing you guys here on PW further on, I guess!

Cheers from Sweden!

Hi and thanks for the welcome!

Saddler: I thought that the mentioning of Gothia Cup would be enough for anybody to understand where I'm from!! It's held in Gothenbourg, Göteborg, which is my hometown. Feel free to get in contact with me whenever you visit Sweden, Sverige.

Fenboy! I looked at your profile picture, and now I wonder which of them you are; the blond one or the dark one?

Fisheruk: as I said; I'm into football, and if I'm not totally misinformed England/UK is the birthplace of that sport??? That means you have to be able to speak/understand English to truely understand football, eyy? Thanks a lot for your comments about the language, and I'm sorry to hear that your Swedish isn't working properly! For how long have you studied our difficult language!? Hehehe, I Think I know what you mean... In Sweden we started studying english when we were 9, and if you add my interest in English sports, you'll get a clue of why I can speak some English....... Today our kids start way earlier with all the games and such so I guess they are introduced to English from 3-5 years of age.

I've just had my computer fixed, so I'll soon try to look more deeply into this interesting form of hunting.

Cheers!
