fenboy
I guess transport will be the issue , you need something to put it in and move it in , I am sure you would have no problem selling it once that was sorted.

figgy
Use it in your car. Or ask a heating oil supply company if they want to buy it. Figgy

vampire
Would it have been better to wait till you used a bit more of the oil you already paid for first, before converting to gas.
bruno22rf
I believe that you can put it in your car-only legal issue, I think, is that duty was charged at a different rate when you bought it- don't think anybody following your car will notice though
RED BEARD
if you advertise it at the right price it'll sell easy enough, just put in the advert the buyer will need the own container.one of them plastic ibc tanks hold 1000ltr so its easy enough for someone to collect it.the farming and equipment section of your local free ad's paper might be a good start. smig4373
Wouldn't you need an ADR license to transport oil...
four-wheel-drive
Do any of your neighbours use oil if the answer is yes and if they would buy it you could buy a little electric pump I have seen them for draining diesel fuel tanks and a length of tube and pump it in to there tank. mark@mbb
If you put it in your car and get stopped you will pay the £500 + fine as heating oil aviation fuel is a rebated product
NIGHT SEARCHER
Loads of 25 lit tubs on ebay for a couple of quid. If you are near any Canals Narrow Boaters will buy it of you. My Boat has a 500 lit propulsion fuel tank and a 500 lit Heating fuel tank. The heating can run on Red Diesel or Heating oil. App 75p lit. If there`s a Marina near you they might have it all of you. Good luck. Russ.
