utectok
1500 20 bore cartridges ordered due for delivery Thursday. The delivery muppet has apparently given them to a mr Stephenson whoever he is. Unbelievable!

hedd-wyn
Bloody hell, what are they doing to resolve this?
utectok
I rang this morning and they said they will need to wait till Monday to chase if up but assured me they would refund me still that's slot of live carts to someone who may or may not have a sgc? You'd think the driver would have thought they need to go to the correct name on the package?

You'd think the driver would have thought they need to go to the correct name on the package? The situation isn't ideal. However, who ever Mr. Stephenson is, he isn't committing an offence. You need an SGC to buy cartridges, but don't need one to be in possession of them. The courier service that I offer costs around double that for the service offered by the popular mail order cartridge company. Thoughts of peanuts and monkeys? webber
TrapFiller
It may not be illegal for him to possess them, but you thought they would have checked for a certificate at the least.

TIGHTCHOKE
They were not delivered by my favourite courier firm were they? Good old Yodel.
Dekers
It may not be illegal for him to possess them, but you thought they would have checked for a certificate at the least. This whole situation is far from ideal but why would you check for a SGC if you don't need one?
wymberley
Apparently, this day and age it is a sad fact that said Mr Stephenson is quite likely to be your next door neighbour or the guy who lives opposite.
triumph_Dave
We have had delivery issues with several companies including Yodel.. At least 3 high value deliveries left at wrong houses around our area. On one delivery they said they had left it in the greenhouse!, except it wasn't ours.. We had to go around the post code area knocking on doors and asking if they would check their greenhouse.. Totally fed up with delivery companies now.. We live out in the countryside in a small hamlet and they still cant get it right. I now ask the supplying company which delivery company they are using. If its one of delivery companies that we know always get it wrong, then we either wont use the supplying company or we ask them to change the delivery company.. Its a right old mess..... steve_b_wales
I'm not sure who you bought the cartridges off, but I have purchased cartridges from Just Cartridges many times without any problems.
shootgun
I'm not sure who you bought the cartridges off, but I have purchased cartridges from Just Cartridges many times without any problems. Same here... the only problem is i had them the delivered at the office every time, as is no one in during the day, and every time someone else signed for
Dominicrobed
Hope that the antis are not reading this as they could use it against us and cartridge delivered to our home / work addresses could be a thing of the past. I think the delivery guy should be worried as showing a SGC of the person that ordered the cartridges should have been asked for ! I've had cartridges delivered to my work before and the company I ordered them from said that my SGC needed to be showmen to the delivery guy but a work mate signed for them and nothing was mentioned about my SGC. Not very good in my opinion Dom

No "service" that I have ever used, be it courier, or anything else, is perfect and mistakes can happen.
utectok
I'll find out more tomorrow weird thing is there are no real neighbours round me an my postcode in a satnav brings you right to my door the company has delivered to me many times and I'm on good terms with the driver I suppose it could be a new driver ? Actually I think these delivery companies ask to much of drivers in a rural area and they probably struggle to get round. Still it's a pita.
