Fuddster
Popped down to P.L this afternoon-staff reported they had a large number of traps and batteries pinched overnight. Went around the sporting but there was only 6 or so traps working. Towers, compact sporting and various others all out of action.Skeet and DTL were ok. you'd be wise to call before attending as they're going to need a bit of time to get things sorted. regards fudds

Dazza9t9
I was there last Friday, it's a lovely place. Hopefully they will get the low life's that did it. The biggest shame is I bet the items stolen will be weighed in for scrap

J_Edwards
I live literally a stone's throw from Park Lodge. If I had a small boat I could just scoot across the canal that lines it to the south. I don't mean to be racist, but in the last few years there's been major problems with thieving gypsies. Luckily we have rottweilers, so we don't have a problem with thieves, but my nana's been broken into twice in two years, and the goods recovered from a gypsy camp, so it didn't take much working out. delburt0
So just look for the caravan with clays coming out of the windows and we have found the culprits...

Jega
Bloody shame me and my lad shoot regularly at Park Lodge,Tom and Sharon along with the rest of their brilliant staff really have put everything into providing us with a first rate ground .Hope they catch the lowlifes ,it go's with out saying lads if you get offered any of this type of equipment a quick bell to to the Police please. As for ground / landscaping improvements, when the ground and new club house was opened one of the instructors Andrew gave us a guided tour of the facility and outlined future planned developments, Park Lodge is very much a " work in progress " project which like all the best things in life is best achieved with patience and careful planning. If you use the ground regularly you can see the ongoing development and improvements taking place.

grousemoor
Is PL closed just now? When will they be fully operational again? It's a real shame this has happened, the owners have invested massively in the site and facilities, I enjoy shooting there (although I don't get there very often!)
