Underdog
Not raining for once so got out before light. Spotted this feller at 400yds or so and needed to close the gap, I was hoping he would come off the field in the photo and head towards me on the path in the photo and sure enough he did! I trotted 150 yds then slowed down to stalk, spotted something and then there he was 40yds or a bit less. A first for a 158xtp and the scoped 357 Win 94. Underdog. Underdog
Nice one. Underdog, are your eyes going, don't normally see you with a scoped lever action Kind of....they are getting long sighted more...the front sight just turns into a blur now. It was getting me down a bit so with having all the mounts from my other winnie94s I took the old Nikon off the air rifle and fitted it on. My eyes have got worse in less than a year! Still have the folding rear on so should the glass fail ..... I was very impressed after zeroing. At 150 paces shooting off hand I got 4shots into a fox kill zone target! It and this load is very accurate! U.

The roe was shot at something like 50yds but ran in an arc and stopped about 80yds....the second shot dropped her....all offhand shots.
