throdgrain
mine cycles 28g all day long but does not like 65/68mm ...are you using 65mm I normally use 67mm Fiochi cartridges, but have used all sorts with no problems. I've found good lubrication is the answer with Rems, with that's any help (not to teach you to suck eggs or anything! )

kent
An auto should have a light oil sprayed on the external of the mag tube and the piston IMO. If you don't the carbon really bonds on and at the end of the day you want everything nice and free. Don't use thicker oil or too great an amount. My SX3 has done just fine with such light loads

theshootist
My Browning gold (3.5") will happily cycle 28g 65mm. I keep the moving parts in the receiver well lubricated. If it eve stops a quick spray of lubricant gets it going again.

Atb delburt0.. No way mate, they need a few drops of oil here and there, definite. I clean mine after every outing, 100 rounds, clean it properly clean. Then lube the moving parts with a drop or two of that thick oil. Failing that, a squirt of aerosol gun oil in the chamber. Next time your dry gun fails to feed, give it a squirt of oil in the chamber, I bet ya the next round works fine Edited February 21, 2014 by throdgrain

It could lead to excessive pressure on the bolt face/standing breech. Regards remmyman

Didn't mean to appear 'all knowing', just concerned that some people would be reaching for the WD40 etc as a 'cure all' fix.
