samboy
My mate reckons he used to let his bee's out at 6am every morning so they could go over the park to pollenate. I think he was lying because the park never opened till 8am.
Sha Bu Le
Mrs S is a bee 'whisperer' rescues them regularly from the sink and other wet places, window ledges etc. Just sticks her finger under them, waits till they get on and puts them on a plant in the garden. Used to often get called upon at school when the other teachers were in panic mode and trying to kill a bee with little kids picking up on the panic. She just waited until it landed somewhere then poked her finger out ........job done. Little kids going oooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhh
kdubya
mate of mine keeps them seems its just about a full time job, he's had to chase about to retrieve them when they have become a bit too crowded and swarmed,on more than a few occasions get the odd bit of honey off him. FatFreddysCat
I've got 4 hives in my garden. Not too much work involved, some people feel the need to open up their hives for a look every week or two but it's really not necessary. Have a look at Caddon Hives, good quality and reasonable prices. Link below. http://www.caddon-hives.co.uk/
