old rooster
What a Richard Cranium! Very close to a stupid head on with the car driver.

safc1973
Think he should invest in a copy of Roadcraft before he goes near another bike. Even before the crash his road positioning was terrible.
amateur
Think he should invest in a copy of Roadcraft before he goes near another bike. Even before the crash his road positioning was terrible. He should have stuck behind the guy in front, who was at least riding reasonably cautiously, and yes "Roadcraft" may be old, but it's still valid
keg
What a fool!, if he wants to ride like that, why not go on a track day? See it most weekends in the summer at Kirby Lonsdale...

Dominicrobed
What a knob !!! And we keep seeing signs that say think bike. Maybe there should be signs that say think car!
malkiserow
Did the car stick around?
grrclark
I really hate people like that. Thankfully he missed the car, but only by hairs breadth otherwise the car driver would have been an innocent victim for the sake of that clown. I have no issues with bikers or car drivers enjoying the road if they have the necessary skill to do it safely (even if that is outside the law), but when you start to impact on other people it is nothing other than selfishness and ignorance and i would quite happily see these people captured by the police and lose their licence. TIGHTCHOKE
I fail to see why the ****** posted the video, was he proud of his poor driving?
88b
All of the above posts make perfect sense to me. Now if he's posted that on you tube , I'd guess the police can trace him and he's just given them evidence of breaking the law. On another note I've ridden the Cat and Fiddle a few times, I thought there were average speed cameras on it 50 mph ?
bullet1747
Did the car stick around? I would have and when he came back up I would have sent him rolling back down ,I like bikes and use to ride them but any thing like that ,I'll stop there before I get into trouble with the mods All of the above posts make perfect sense to me. 88b
I recall for once they actually considered bikes and had the average speed cameras facing forward, unlike all the ones around here that only get the front of the vehicle.
fletcher1004
that could have been so much worse! but on another note I'm looking forward to getting the Speed Triple out and making the most of the brighter evenings!
Kes
No case for speed cameras here or anywhere Bikers go it would seem. Talk about a casualty waiting to happen, I just hope he doesnt take anyone else with him when he dies. *****
strangford wildfowler
Talk about near death experiences when his camera came off I didnt relises and I thought it was the rider doing all them falls and tumbles, bet he was glad he had his safety gear on. Catweazle
Classic case of "in tight out wide" instead of the other way around. He could do with an advanced motorcyclist course, they teach you to use the road you can see.
kingo15
That road may be twisting and ideal for bikes but those pot holes would put me off going along there. Its amazing how different people ride with a camera attached to them.
karpman
Clearly wasn't enough "slow" signs on the road they were only every few yards jeeZ. Karpman
old rooster
"Twist of the wrist" Keith Code................. All those in the vid could do with getting the book and DVD!! If you look at the footage closely none of them are going fast and the guy that binned it had already made the corner he was exiting from. I've actually seen it happen in front of me due to a momentary lapse of concentration, that can be all it takes. This one looks like target fixation on the oncoming car IMHO. Medic1281
I'm thinking about how he would've got out of there if he had suffered an injury. It's a nightmare job for the ambulance service.
