Shed broken in to.

My blood is boiling. How dare the mother ****ers open my locked gate, walk around my garden, lever open my shed door, and all they nicked is a game bag a pair of gloves and a torch.

Other neighbours also done too (12 in total) all only had silly things stolen.

The soco man that came around reckons they must be professional to be able to do that many break ins within 500 yards in one night and not get seen or heard by anyone.

We all been told to increase our security as last night was probably a test on the local village security and they will likely be back as we are a quiet little village

I have now set up land mines in both my out buildings and on my back gate.

Told wifey it's time to actually set the house alarm at night and when we are out. Up until now it's really been for show.

I'm so bloody angry right now.

I know how you feel.

We had honda big red trike (was a long time ago) nicked from the farm. Had a visit a few weeks later from 4 or 5 blokes in a transit I let them have a look in the unlocked buildings when they tried the doors for the garage I put three rounds into the field (nice back stop) they would of given a certain Mr Bolt a run for his money.

Just don't forget the alarm mines next time you go in the shed.

I have 2 v. big dogs but I would understand your feelings if they werent here. Perhaps an e-mail to your Police and Crime Commissioner might add some support to the 'land' mines and alarm mines. Tempting to wait up.

You really should be putting the alarm on when you go out. A friend of mine had a burglary whist out and they managed to get some 12 bore ammunition. He was required to surrender his shotgun certificate for 12 months as a 'punishment'. He too had NOT set the house alarm. He also had one hell of a job getting the Insurance to cough up. So be warned. You could consider fitting one of the alarm guns that use a 12 bore blank inside the shed and running the trip wire back to the door, they will not want to hang around if that went off.

I would say yes to being legal. Can't see Henry Krank would sell them if they weren't and also mr plod only just left my house and was quite impressed with my trip wires connected to these and my shed and log cabin mine set ups.

Have a look at ESP Guardcam, on ebay or Amazon. Around £80. I have fitted 2, since attempted break in late last year. They are like normal security lights but take photo's every couple of seconds or video.

Picture quailty is excellent.

They also have a voice warning if required warning that you are being filmed.

Heard it go off a few weeks ago one sunday night and looked out of window to see a battered old transit drivivng away. Took out the memory card the next day and there he was red handed looking direct at the camera when he heard the warning and ran off. Didn't report it it due to no crime being committed this time.

Cheaper than a full CCTV system

Perhaps you should report it....

Especially as you have a clear photo of the individual....

The police can't yet read minds and your picture might be the intelligence gap that solves a series of crimes.... Did he do other houses and just get scared off by yours? Did you get the van reg number... ?

Also www. Immobilise. Com

Register and protect your stuff.... Even if it forces you to write down serial numbers

Really, a professional? I did not know there was a training course, was he time served or had he gone to Uni to get his qualifications?

You should of told the SOCO man that he was a professional copper and to go fetch.
