pin
I don't know how you drink it with any regularity LG on here says he can, but by his own admission he's not a big drinker. It does for me that stuff, does me right in, and not pleasantly

Mungler
I went to a CAMRA beer festival in Chelmsford last week. Haven't had a drop since. Got to say it's a great gig. There must have been at least 150 barrels of god knows what and another choice of 50 different Belgiun brews - these were the ones that got me. It looked like Tizer and tasted like cherryaide but it was 9.5%.

Poacher
its a variety pack 24 bottles for £20 ex vat. Less than a quid a bottle is an absolute bargain for ale I'd go for it, they'll probably be a few distinct (odd/diferent) tasting ones in there but the majority should be pretty good, they are a well established brewery and you don't get good if your brewing bog water. Don't be put off by their crappy labels, why they try and attract adult buyers with kiddy cartoons is beyond me.........Do you really need persuading to get some grog ? Whats the worst that could happen
Gully
Took the day off work today and took my wife shooting for the first time. She loved it. Then off for a pub kkunch and a couple of pints of a beer I've never seen before called 'Side Pockets of the Toad ) from Tring Brewery. Best pint I've had in years. A Sick Old Man
You are all missing out on the delights of Lidle beers, try Grafenwalder pure brewed BoxHead lager 65p a tube and its not at all bad, if your really down and just want to turn off from all life has thrown at you,,,,,,,, Then you must try Lidle Strong German lager in the brown cans Bloody hell its strong, my brother is a right **** tank and he only managed six cans ( ?1.00 per dose) The NHS should use it, its better and cheaper than anasthetic. Do love good old british ales though, a pint of hen in a nice pub garden Cant beat it.
