thepasty
Hey guys A few months back the wife got a sewing machine and if I'm honest I've fancied a go at it for a couple of weeks but she wouldn't let me play with her new toy, so last night I said I NEED to make a gun slip and to my surprise she agreed, I think mainly because I'd been charping on about how easy it looked and she wanted to teach me a lesson . Looking around for material I found an old czech army surplus work shirt I got for £3 and set about cutting it up, I got no help from the wife bar setting up the machine (only so I didnt break it ) so was very much on my own.... how hard can this sewing lark be?! I started with this... and ended with this... Double pocket, all hemmed, strengthened where needs be etc etc.... yeah some of the sewing isnt perfect but all very usable and seeing as I'd never touched a sewing machine before and I made it up as I went along I'm very happy with the result. Chuffed What next?!

I'll be sticking to shooting/fishing related gear, I'm thinking of making my version of those bucket hide seats but I need another roll up shotgun slip before taking that on.
