Yellow Bear
Went last year - was disappointingly small for the price but a pleasant enough day out.

DazzJo
Apparently it's going to be twice the size this year a lot more stalls, tutorials and shows

Greenhunter
Just got back and alls I can say is 'what a load of ****' :( Nearly went today.....maybe I saved myself a bit of disappointment GH
DazzJo
The only good thing about today was the clay shooting at the bottom, rest of it was burger vans, donut vans and loads of stalls that sell giant dog beds! Even the demos in the arena was boring deeply disappointed definitely won't be going again!
Yellow Bear
Just got back and alls I can say is 'what a load of ****' :( +3 - twice the size of last year-yes it was. Better no it was not!! Only really went as my daughter wanted to see the dog photographer ( inn the same tent as the entries for the comps) and yes he was good. Marki
Well that has saved me at least £20 and a hours worth of driving. I really wanted this to be worth the drive. Pity. Edited July 12, 2014 by Marki
MITCHF
is the clay shoot 50 or 100 ?
DazzJo
Its 40 mate and I think it's £20 to enter plus then £10 get in, £30 to shoot 40 clays pfffft!!!
Andy RV
Another disappointment then! Well at least they put on a good bonfire!!!!

bigbird
Aww we went yesterday and had a great time with the dogs. Did scurries and the Working Test which was I admit aimed more at Labs. Heavily dog orientated which suited us but of course it won't suit everyone
MITCHF
Not a bad little show for a tenner, better than working or sat on the settee. Testing compak sporting, 40 bird for a £10. Lot's of dogs to watch. No complaints here, it's a local show not the CLA or Midland. Edited July 14, 2014 by MITCHF

loriusgarrulus
Went with OH for the 1st time and took the dogs for the walk. Nice little show for only a tenner. The main arena had gundog demos, hawking and security dogs that we saw. Clay shoot £10 for 40 with £100 prize for high gun. Bought a few bits and pieces from the stalls. Got some nice targets for the air rifles very reasonable prices. Discovered a great cooling coat for the dogs called Aquamat that kept them from panting in the heat and despite it being soaked with water to enable evaporative cooling the dogs were dry when we took the coats off. Stopped my Red Setter and OH's Springer panting within 30 mins of putting them on. Catering was reasonably priced. Its not Chatsworth or Catton, but we had a nice day for a reasonable price and only 15 mins down the road for us.
DazzJo
I'm glad that someone had some good come out of it. I saw them Aquamats and they did look very good and clever!
