Also the one that are about are really nervous even with night vision the slightest glow from the screen and they dont hang about. rogcal Posted December 16, 2014 Report Share Posted December 16, 2014 Rabbit VHD has got to be the culprit. South Yorks vets are warning of it as pet rabbits are sucumbing to it in that area and they can only be getting it from the wild rabbits. There are numerous vectors of this disease such as flies and fleas which can carry the virus from infected carcases or from the excreta of birds, foxes and other mammals that may eat the carcases. I think the disease is now well established throughout the UK and it's only a matter of time before those areas that are free from it are also affected.
