GingerCat
A friend went to Saudi to play with ejection seats, hes not come back so I presume he enjoys it. And the free house, and pool, clothing and food.

M37
I was pipped to the post, three times, by ex-plumbers. That was for a job with the traffic wombles (Highways Agency Patrol). They seem to enjoy it

discobob
I'd look to bae systems or what ever there called now Be careful which BAE business you go into - some are making redundancies - I will ask about with the Talent people and a HR guy I know who is ex-PSF (If that is still what it is called) if the OP wants Cheers Steve
TIGHTCHOKE
Bae Systems have made some dramatic cost cutting changes, it really isn't the golden goose it used to be!
NorfolkAYA
Thanks for your replies guys. What a gather from BAE they offer you 6month rolling contracts as an engineer which isn't ideal but the money is top dollar
ferguson_tom
One of my close friends was an armourer for the RAF and specialised in ejector seats. After retiring went to a company that did ejector seats and other survival stuff for private jets and smaller air force's. Will send you a pm with it's details. discobob
There was actually a study carried out (I heard about it while in Cyprus (92-95) about the mortality rate of people after leaving the forces after a long service - 22+ years - I can't remember the facts but I do remember that it was quite surprising how high it was in the first 5 years or something like that Steve
