SPARKIE
Hi my mate is looking for a good gunsmith to sort an issue on his berretta sxs shotgun.....he's taken it to the shop he bought it from and they said they have tested it and cant fault it.... the issue is that if firing right barrel first the trigger freezes and wont fire second barrel it does this quite often. but if gun fires left first it work perfect everytime...he keeps getting fobbed off so we took the stock off and had a look inside to see if there was any thing that stood out but everything looks ok...tried cleaning it and a light lube applyed but still the same... SO DOES ANYONE KNOW ANY REPUTABLE GUN SMITH'S ROUND DERBYSHIRE OR NEAR BY OTHER THAN THE ONE AT DOVERIDGE (HE'S NOT INTERESTED) guns a berretta 471 el silverhawk thanks martyn

Bad Monkey
Have you tried Mike Frear at Nevilles in Alfreton? He's always busy though so there'll be a wait.

fruity
Personally I wouldn't use GMK as suggested. They obviously don't have a good quality gunsmith on site imho

Paolo180
Personally I wouldn't use GMK as suggested. They obviously don't have a good quality gunsmith on site imho If I had a problem with a Beretta I would only take to GMK for repair. Guest Mick.j
Sounds like its just a barrel selector issue, which may prevent the left barrel firing. Easy enough to check with the stock off
Sco77w
Have you tried Mike Frear at Nevilles in Alfreton? He's always busy though so there'll be a wait. +1 he's worked on 2 of my shotguns, knows his stuff and wont rip you off. You need to go to see his workshop, its like stepping back in time.
