Clc0608
I was at the Phoenix meet yesterday and got Neal from Suffolk Rifle Company to give a quick once over their new Glock 17. I'm hoping to do a review of the finished gun once it's out but this is just a first look at the current form of the prototype. For those interested the gun should retail for under £1000.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G_RWpu_1Csk
Les*1066
It looks mildly ridiculous when compared to the GSG 1911.
Clc0608
It looks mildly ridiculous when compared to the GSG 1911. It is missing a shroud and counter balance. Both should be on the finished version.

silverhawk
I think the k22 looks better.Them coat hangers and long barrels are silly. Edited May 23, 2015 by silverhawk
phaedra1106
Looks like a nice bit of kit but at over twice the price of the new GSG 1911 I think they've missed the boat, the GSG is selling like hot cakes Sportsmans are selling them at £412.99 which is a massive saving against £1000 for the "Glock", £750 for the K22 or £1350 for the Sig 226 conversion. I think the k22 looks better.Them coat hangers and long barrels are silly. The K22 has both of those! I know they all have the hangers and long barrel but I do think the k22 looks a bit better.I did have the 1911 long barrel pistol but gave it up I had way too many issues with it and it wasn't just me down the club that had issues with a 1911. srspower
I think if you take reliability and accuracy over everything else the Browning Buckmark LBP is probably the best option as it was made from the ground up as a .22lr target pistol. It's a pity Ruger don't do a LBP of their target .22lr's for the same reason. It's odd to hear the price for the SRC .22lr glock because when they first posted it on FB they reckoned it would be just under £500 which would make it very competitive. Carman06
Seems last like a lot for something that's not actually a Glock. GSG is exceptional value at the min £415 at my local RFD.
Scully
What a shame; we must be the laughing stock of the free world. Embarrassing.
ordnance
Some might like it, but I don't like the unmodified Glock so it would not be for me. I understand why after the development it's around £1000 , I could buy a 9 MM Glock here for under £ 400. Imperfection
What a shame; we must be the laughing stock of the free world. Embarrassing. Most of the world asume that guns are banned here full stop!
Cannon
This has to be a joke surely? You'd have to be mad to voluntarily buy a Glock, but you'd have to be downright bonkers to buy an expensive cheap looking LBR variant. You lads have my sympathy. TaxiDriver
Doesn't the bloke say in the vid that they spent X number of months developing this, and Glock said "NO" So they've got 5 different parts made by different companies (none of whom were Glock presumably) Surely then .... It's Not a Glock
Livefast123
God, I hate LBP's, especially as i'm now browsing through a selection of 'proper' pistols at Orlando gun range at less than $300 new......only a week left before a return to LBP's! Seeing as now criminals just import their guns from Eastern Europe we may as well have our proper ones back.

It's Not a Glock  My thoughts exactly it's not a Glock but sounds like it's being dressed up as one...and for £1000 for a copy, no ta. ordnance
Surely then .... It's Not a Glock  You would think that Glock might have something to say about it being called a glock.
Muddy Funker
What a shame; we must be the laughing stock of the free world. Embarrassing. My thoughts exactly. I'd be utterly embarrassed having anything to do with that piece of ****.
