Keith RW Posted June 1, 2015 Report Share Posted June 1, 2015 Looking for a cheap and cheerful used semi auto with 3" chamber that will take Magnum loads, got some 3" Fiocchi 52g in no3 for Mr fox and both my O/U's are only 2 3/4" so figured it would be an excuse to get a semi in the cupboard.... Simon123 Posted June 1, 2015 Report Share Posted June 1, 2015 I would also recommend a winchester SX3.. although mines 3 1/2" it still cycles everything which I've put through it. Had a Hatsan Escort before as my first semi, enjoyed it through my ownership, but now after haven the SX3 (6 months ish) i'd never go back.. i find it very soft to shoot aswel!! Some love them, some hate them, I can only go with what I know and I wouldn't swap it. Can't fault it for the money. I might be just one of the lucky ones mind. It is a tool and I not worried about nocking it about - highly recommended and a bargain for what they are. I miss having my urika only sold it due to it not fitting my was to big in lop got an urgu to buy another semi auto but have to be wood due and cut it down plastic stock are to big I need under 14inch of lop. The winhester sxp is spot on on fit but the sx3 are miles out n I dout the stocks will interchange . (once you've tried them all you will find you've settled on the Maxus though ) Used a carbon maxus when they first came out over in Canada, got on really well with it and would possibly be my choice if looking for just the one gun to use and have.
