shootgun
I have one, and having risen through the ranks, I think it is the best yet +
Browning 425 clay hunter
I did the same as you. 4s to a 6 and absolutely love it. It's quite large and at first when using one hand to txt its more slippery than an eel covered in butter. It kept jumping out of my hand but after you get used to the size it's awesome. Fingerprint access for all major apps like banking, eBay, PayPal and so on makes using it very quick and you don't have to remember all your passwords. I'm a big apple fan anyway but this really is the muts nuts. Go get one with confidence. ATB
Wilts#Dave
Same format as all the other iPhones but does everything smoother and quicker, camera is good too....really nice to use and screen is a much better size!

Carman06
I did same move and gave my son my old 4s. The biggest issue I have now is occasionally using my sons 4s seems so chunky and small screen. Don't know how I used it. The move from 4s to 6 is much bigger jump then 4s to 5 etc.

Billy.
I'd wait a month. The new models are due to be announced shortly.
viking
iPhone 7. Or a new 6.
LondonLuke
I'm with Billy. I have the 6 and it's good but apparently new ones on 25th September
NickS
With any technology, it moves on rapidly. Waiting until the new one comes out gives you the option of going with the new or paying significantly less for the current design. I really like my 6, the regular sized one. Scully
I gave my son my 4s and was offered a 6 at upgrade but felt it was far too big for me as I'm in the building trade, and with a hard shell thought it would be impractical so opted for the 5s. Will keep the 5s for as long as possible, but I suppose there'll come a time when I have no choice.

viking
all sorted now, tooth pick in earphone hole, cleaned it out, done
Breastman
Dirt/corrosion on the headphone and/or charging jack. Clean both out using a cocktail stick and some appropriate tissue/lint free cloth. Mine did the exact same thing, took it to the Apple shop and they said there was 'corrosion' on the charging jack which meant it would need to be replaced and cost wouldn't be worth it (was out of warranty) - but here you can buy a new phone.... Anyway took it home and cleaned it as above and it worked fine

There is reportedly very little difference between the current and new model iPhones. It's expected that force touch will be the new addition. However, much like buying a car, you don't want to buy one the day before the new reg is released, or you're just writing off a chunk of resale value. Pothunter
I have a 6+. If it's not too late, get this. Twice the battery life, is no harder to carry than a normal size phone (in front jeans/trouser pocket), but all the advantages of a much bigger screen. I hardly ever use a computer any more. Revolutionary.

Billy. A correctly backed up iPhone via iCloud (under settings) will keep your new phone looking exactly like the last, with all your stuff still there too. Go to settings > iCloud > backup. Check it's set to backup. It'll also tell you when the last backup was, which should be in the middle of the night before. When you get your new phone, tell it to back up, leave it to do its work and set up your new phone once it's done. When you turn on your new phone, it'll prompt you to restore from an iCloud backup. You will see your last update there. Edited July 13, 2015 by Billy.
viking
thanks billy. i remember doing that on my ipad now, iv freed some space on my i cloud and its currently backing up, new phone should be here tomorrow, im quite protective of my family photos, i usually put them on my ipad, and laptop, and now and again on to an external hard drive, and even a memory stick.if i take photos on my camera i can put them straight onto my ipad and laptop from the card, but if i take them on my phone then i just email them to myself and put on to my laptop,as i couldn't think of any other way to get them from my phone/ipad onto another storage devise. thanks. lee
