Not toted it for above a week so out I set.

Not a soul about it was lovely this AM

First shot of the day was a 27yard young rabbit, perfect table fair.

When I picked it up the bearing fell out, ya, a free shot!

Next up a nice 50yard crow, always a treat!

An hour later and a rest and drink under the shade of a tree a fox shows up, a cub. About one thirty yards away.

A large oak was between us and with the wind in my favour and some knettles about I scurried my fat body to the oak, about a sixty yard shot.

You can see the oak behind me in the photo.

I used one of the old Remington Vmax I got recently, although seemingly slower I have been keen to try one on a fox.

Well this large cub jumped up and walked 15yards and keeled over, the exit shows clear more expansion over the other ammo I have been using despite more power!

The little rim fire strikes again, great little package the WMR is.

On the way back got another crow :)

i'm sorely tempted to chop in the lr and hmr for one, depending on if I renew my licence next year.

Nicely done UD.

Paddy, I am tempted to sell my 22, not market hunting rabbit anymore, the wmr does it all. The noise is not that bad, the crow was shot in a horse paddock. The horses still came and said hello like normal.

Don't forget the deer it dispatched in march too! No way could I of attempted that with a hmr!
