sitting in the hide yesterday for the grey tree rats nowt doing at the feeding station so looks like a move is in order .

may I first of all point out the hide is about 10ft off the ground so shooting with the .22rf is safe and is in the centre of the wood no where near the edges of wood bait station is a measured 50yds ...

so to check zero before shooting at quarry I placed a pop can at 50yds and fired 5 rounds [ 1 magazine full ] at it and I,m more than happy with result

I had the same model rifle for over 15 years, and it was 2nd hand when I bought it. I probably only cleaned inside the barrel twice in all that time, and it maintained it's accuracy.

Had mine 30yrs and it was secondhand to, just had 3" cut off the barrel ( the mod had rusted on ) wish I had had it done years ago handles so well now out of the truck and is still as accurated shudder to think how many rounds its had through it and what its shot.

I was teasing. :D

I had one for many years, my dad bought it new, I inherited it and have recently handed it on to my son. I know what they can do in the right hands. :)

no probs matey ...........I haven't had too long only a couple months all I,ve done to it is lighten the trigger .

I bought from local rfd for 50 quid took it to the farm to after fitting a scope to zero it and was GUTTED when I couldn,t even hit a meter square target board with the silencer on but without it it was spot on so after about 15 mins and 30 / 40 rounds we found out that the rounds were clipping the inside of the silencer took it back to the shop and they paid for the barrel to be shortened and re threaded so now with the silencer fitted you can see the result .............and I love it so much so the 1022 has now been religated to dedicated NV set up

I've a Brno too in the same flavour, out of interest what did you get it chopped too? Mines currently the length of a Carp fishing match pole and is a royal pain in the **** when in the truck!

Was going to get mine cut to 14" but got messed about for weeks with the RFD so just got it back now. Also I feel bad cutting down such a lovely old gun and ruining the iron sights

Wouldn't mind if it was 14" tho as with the sak mod it would then be a nice overall length :)
