I've got those side steps on mine, no complaints with them also bought a set of those rear cards you mentioned with the netting as an option. viking Posted August 14, 2017 Author Report Share Posted August 14, 2017 If it has not got windows in the side behind the drivers doors its a van :whistling: Just out of interest if what I said in the line above is correct which I think it is this gets us into the if it is to be regarded as a van would that affect the road tax or insurance as it would be regarded as a commercial Vehicle. well i was reading up on the tax the other day to see what it cost, couldnt find a definitive answer but it was lloking like £520 for the year, then i read that in 2011 they were taxed as light commercials or something along those lines. then found out it was £220 a year so that better than the disco, and it may be a VAN, but ill be ****** if im using it for work Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It was something I was watching before I'd done a deal with my series 3. So after I'd agreed the sale of the S3 I got in touch with him and asked if it was still available, he said yes as he'd not got round to putting it back on eBay. So I said I'd be round in a couple of days to look at it. Iv left a deposit with plans to pick it up a week today. But only if the sale of mine goes through on Monday. Pretty sure it will as the bloke has left me a decent deposit. When I got home from looking at it I'd got an email off eBay to say an item I was watching had been re listed. Silly thing is it's on with a buy it now price. So if anyone hits buy it now then I don't know what happens, I'm going to ring him now. Well spotted.
