Mentalmac
Hi All, As mentioned here before, here's my new member of our family :-). She is called Lola (not my choice, that was the wife and kids fault that, that was also the condition of me getting a pup - letting them name her - doh!). After an epic weekend of travelling to get her, leaving 5pm Friday night to drive to Newcastle, stopping over with a friend, getting hardly any sleep as the kids were out of sorts staying at a friends house and me sleeping on a sofa in a sleeping bag with 3 hours sleep, spent Saturday with our friend and all our kids.... then a few more hours sleep at Sat night and then setting off 5:30am Sunday morning, carrying on up to Kinross by Dundee to get the pup. The breeder was great, had a great set up and the dogs have a good pedigree and all was good - the mum and his other dogs were wonderful to be with too. Then, it was 8 hours home. Split up into lots of chunks with plenty of time to rest between and let pup get fresh air and water etc... I felt like a pimp in the services, this thing is a babe magnet! Night 1 was ok, we didn't get home until 11pm so then when I took her to the garden she was more interested in all the garden than doing her business, but after a while she settled in. She whined a little over night as I am crate training her, but she soon stopped and got used to her abode. We had a great time playing in the morning and I have been absolutely besotted with her since haha.

Mentalmac
Thanks guys :-). She's lovely and really enjoy her being here - except when it's late and she's still wanting to play games. She's found a pair of the kids socks which were rolled and now she has claimed them too haha

Thanks John, she seems to be growing whilst watching her! Well - with the rate of knots she eats I'm not surprised. :-) It'll get a whole lot worse . Beautiful little pup C. haha I can imagine, she wants to sniff or chew nearly anything she see's at the moment so am constantly giving her her own chew toy when she touches anything of mine. Mentalmac
Thanks guys :-). She's a lovely pup, except when trying to steal food from the kids - having to eradicate that one. Certainly good fun, it's just like having another kid again

Mentalmac
Kids will need educating as well as the pup. Very much so - they not have to eat at the table only, apart from that they are really good at not doing anything silly with pup and letting her do her own thing.
