grrclark
Also take a look at the Franchi Alcione in 20g, just a wee bit beyond your budget brand new, but a lovely gun for the money, I may buy another one.
dougall
at that budget I would look at Lincoln...good honest guns

You should be able to get it for less than 600 though. I've been shooting one of their 28ga O/U's for the last two years - great little gun. No problems really (except user incompetence). 20ga is built on the same action as the 28ga, so should be nice to shoot. Arafat probably was an RFD - of sorts - come to think of it. chasechicken
I don't own one but have used the Lincoln Premiere Gold and it is a lovely gun - looks stunning, light weight, shoots nicely. About a grand new but I've seen a couple for a bit over £600 so you may find one in budget...
Old Boggy
at that budget I would look at Lincoln...good honest guns +1 for Lincoln, good and reliable. There is a Lincoln 20 bore Premier multi choke on Gunstar for £600. Doesn't state barrel length though.
hawkfanz
also the lanber field 20g,ive got one had a medalist as well couldn,t fault it but traded in for lanber cos it was steel proof, also got a yildiz in 28g,lovely little gun so I assume the yildiz 20g will be as good.but as above the Lincoln must be in there as well even though ive never used one myself, but I use 20g more than 12g. Salop Matt
Also look at ATA as they are basically a Berretta. ATB Matt
NorfolkAYA
Am I right in thinking that the yildiz are non ejectors?. Cheers pete
welshwarrior
Also look at ATA as they are basically a Berretta. ATB Matt I wouldn't in 20 bore. Yildiz do both non ejector and ejector models. For that money I'd look at the Yildiz or Lincoln or Sabbitti.

NorfolkAYA
Hi guys. In getting the consesus around my budget to be either the Yildiz, Lincoln or Franchi. Cheers for your help 👍. I think I'm going to go for either the Lincoln or Franchi and if I get in with it upgrade to a silver pigeon. 😆
