Thanks rectifier hawk eye, malmick, Fal and ollie.

Ollie - that location always shoots best with a NW wind. We don't normally get it at the start of September but I'm sure I'll have plenty of blanks to make up for it!

Good shooting followed up by some cracking dog work, I would never get fed up watching a good dog working like that :good:

Thanks. He can have his moments too. He isn't always like that. He is quite competitive when it comes to being around other dogs. But he's still young - it'll come.

Like shooting from your front room, nice spot, you just need an armchair there.

How old is the dog? He is doing well and looks steady. I am training a lab at the moment, he is doing a lot of learning on the job though, he directional skills are that great but he has a good nose on him.

Certainly a good amount of duck there.

Thanks Richie. Ted is 3 past in July. He's starting his 3rd season as I was forced into starting him too young. He has very much learned on the job. His steadiness is ok on his own but I have to watch him when other dogs are around - he wants to get every bird.

Hope your dog turns out well.

Thanks!

Mine is 14 months old so still very young!
