redthunder Posted April 13, 2007 Report Share Posted April 13, 2007 WENT OUT ON TUESDAY NIGHT TO LOOK FOR FOXY ON ONE OF THE FARMS WE SHOOT, WE LAMPED MOST OF THE FARM BUT ALL WE COULD SEE WAS SHEEP :o SO WE PARKED UP ON A HIGH VANTAGE POINT WHERE WE COULD SEE FOUR FIELDS BUT NOTHING JUST MORE SHEEP . AFTER A FAG BREAK AND A QUICK SCAN WITH THE LAMP THERE WAS FOXY OUT IN THE MIDLE OF THE SHEEP, I GAVE THE WAM A BLAST BUT NO JOY SO I TRIED ANOTHER TWO CALLS BUT NO JOY LAST CHANCE WAS THE POLY FOAM ON THE WINDSCREEN, TWO SQUEEKS ON THE WINDOW AND FOXY WAS COMING LIKE A TRAIN. I WAS RESTING ON THE BONNET OF THE LANDY WITH TIKKA .243 WAITING FOR FOXY TO SHOW. FOXY CAME UNDER THE GATE RUNNING TOWARDS US, AS HE GOT TO ABOUT 100 YARDS I FLICKED THE SAFTEY OFF AND WAITED FOR FOXY TO STOP SO I COULD NAIL HIM BUT HE WOULDN'T STOP AND KEPT COMING SO I NAILED HIM RUNNING TOWARDS ME ABOUT 55 YARDS OUT STRAIGHT THROUGH THE CENTRE OF HIS THROAT STONE DEAD Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
